Join us for an opportunity to step into a Waldorf 1st Grade classroom for morning lesson with teacher and students. The Bridge to 1st Grade morning will involve watching a segment of Main Lesson, along with a question and answer session with the 1st Grade teacher, Kindergarten teacher, Educational Specialist, and our Enrollment Coordinator. 1st Grade is the bridge between a play-based early childhood educational experience and the academic work of grade school. 1st grade weaves storytelling, art, and science into reading, math and our specialty classes. 1st graders are offered specialty classes in Spanish, Handwork, Movement & Games, Nature Study, and Music. Plentiful time outdoors in nature is another hallmark of our 1st Grade. Learn about how to apply to our school and other ways to connect with us.
