We are pleased to announce the graduation of the Charlottesville Waldorf School Eighth Grade Class of 2026 on Thursday, June 4. Friends and family are invited to join us for the graduation ceremony in the Pavilion at CWS at 6pm, followed by a short reception.
We are deeply proud of this class and all they have accomplished together over the years. Nearly the entire class has been part of the school community since early childhood, with several students beginning together in Lise Stoessel’s Nursery Class, and some even meeting before that in Parent and Child classes with Dianne Bearinger. Their years together reflect the continuity and depth of relationship that are such a meaningful part of Waldorf education.
Next year, six of these students will attend Charlottesville High School, two will attend Albemarle High School, and one student will be moving to the Halifax, New Brunswick area in Canada for high school. We send them forward with great confidence, affection, and excitement for all that lies ahead.
