At Charlottesville Waldorf School, our teachers stay with their class for a first through third grade loop – moving with the same group of children through first, second and third grades. The teacher will then loop back down to the first grade again. This provides continuity of teaching, and consistency for children’s challenges and gifts in these early elementary years.
