Annual Fund Campaign for 2020/21
Like every nonprofit, Charlottesville Waldorf School depends on the philanthropic support of the people who care about our school and our mission. And like every independent school, tuition alone does not support everything we do to educate the children of our school. Our Waldorf community greatly benefits from the support of parents, alumni, grandparents, alumni parents, and friends.
By participating in school events, volunteering time and energy, and supporting fundraising initiatives, our community shows its support for our school and programs. The Development and Outreach Office coordinates school fundraising, special events, publications and alumni relations, and welcomes your interest and participation.
There are many ways you can show your support throughout the year; donating to the Annual Fund has an immediate impact and is greatly appreciated. We are grateful to you for your commitment to our program and thank you for your ongoing support.
Under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, Waldorf friends claiming the income tax standard deduction in 2020 can reduce taxable income by up to $300 for cash contributions to public charities.
