This is a remarkable time for Charlottesville Waldorf School and the more than 1,100 other Waldorf Schools worldwide as we all embark on the year-long celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Waldorf education: Waldorf100! CWS is participating in two of the major Waldorf100 “core projects” — click here to learn more!
A commonality among all Waldorf Schools, and private schools in general, is the need to raise funds beyond tuition in order to cover the actual costs of the education. Your generous giving to the Annual Giving Fund at the CWS supports the people and programs that make this school exceptional. Annual Giving funds go where they are needed most: supporting tuition assistance, classroom supplies, faculty and staff development, funding for new programs, campus improvements, and so much more!
Last year we made school history once again by achieving 99% community participation in the Annual Giving Campaign — thank you for your tremendous efforts! This year, in honor of the landmark Waldorf100 event, our goal is to increase community participation to 100%:
Help us celebrate Waldorf100 by giving a fitting birthday present for a centenarian — a gift that will allow the Waldorf legacy to thrive within our own CWS community and countless other communities around the world for the next 100 years!
Every act of generosity counts and each means even more when we give together!
Please join the CWS community to make your first Spring Day of Giving campaign contribution in the name of the Charlottesville Waldorf School! Additionally, please reach out to your friends, family, colleagues, and any other connections you might have to encourage them to make a Spring Day of Giving gift to help guide our school into the next 100 years. Let them know why CWS is so special to you and your family, and share some of your great Waldorf stories.CWS is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Your contribution is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services were provided in exchange for your generous financial donation.
