Lisa Wingerath

Eighth Grade

Lisa graduated from The College of William and Mary with a Master’s degree in Secondary Education. She holds a teaching license in the state of Virginia, and completed a summer intensive training in Waldorf Education focusing on the Middle School years. She began her teaching career in Virginia Beach Public Schools and later taught in Louisa and Albemarle County Public Schools. She spent eleven years teaching Language Arts before joining CWS in 2024.

Outside of school, Lisa loves spending evenings dancing with her daughters and reading on her back deck. She also loves spending her summers in Northern NY, paddleboarding on the St. Lawrence River.
