Directions and Address
Charlottesville Waldorf School is located right outside of the Charlottesville city limits on Rio Road, across from the turn to Pen Park. Our mailing address is 120 Waldorf School Road, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
Parking
CWS has two parking lots. The first, immediately to the right upon entering the campus, is the Lower Lot and is reserved at drop off and pick up times for Early Childhood families. To reach the Upper Lot, proceed up the driveway past the School House. Grade school morning drop off takes place in this lot and all visitors should park here to check in at the Main Office, which is located up the large cement staircase.
Grade school dismissal takes place in front of the School House building. Vehicles should enter campus and go all the way to the Upper Lot, complete the circuit and line up going back down the driveway.
Overflow parking for school events can be on the Basketball Court, or along the driveway on the right side as you go up the hill. Please do not park on the opposite side as it is a fire lane and must be kept clear for emergencies.
