Open Playtime in a Waldorf Classroom and Play-yard
Tuesdays: June 24, July 15, and August 12 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Invitation to come play! Build forts, play in costume, roll trucks along beams and boards, cook in the play kitchen, and delve into the joy of imaginative play. Bring your preschool and kindergarten-age children to explore our sandbox, swing set, climbing trees, and enjoy a casual gathering with other families.
At the Charlottesville Waldorf School, we offer a developmentally appropriate, experiential approach to education that ignites and inspires life-long learning. A Waldorf education nurtures young children, establishing a strong foundation for academics and a genuine interest in other people and the world around them. Waldorf teachers know that young children grow best in an environment that provides active play, natural materials, rhythm, and beauty in a consciously created home-like environment.
Please join us! This gathering is free and open to the public (infants - 6 year olds).
Pre-registration for this event is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome.
