Join CWS Early Childhood and Grade School faculty, along with School Director Amanda Tipton, for a discussion of first grade readiness on Tuesday, October 13 at 6-7pm in the Pavilion at the Charlottesville Waldorf School.
Waldorf Education is based on Rudolf Steiner’s understanding of human development, which goes beyond the age of each child to assess individual physical, social, emotional, and mental capabilities as each child grows. Understanding that children may not reach these milestones at the same rate can assist parents and teachers in deciding when children are ready to move on from kindergarten to the more structured academic experience of the grade school.
This event has passed. If you are interested in learning more about First Grade Readiness at the Charlottesville Waldorf School please contact our Admissions Office at firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out our inquiry form to schedule a school tour.
